November 7, 2012 Time of Winter and Holiday Images

Nature never goes out of style.

Images of snow and frost make beautiful and unique holiday greetings.

Imagine a thin layer of newly fallen snow, sparkling hoar frost covering the last leaves and berries of the fall.

Wouldn't it be nice to share that lovely sight with someone special?

P.S. What you’ll see on these images is called hoarfrost. But what is that exactly? Wikipedia explains: "Hoar frost refers to the white ice crystals, loosely deposited on the ground or exposed objects, that form on cold clear nights when heat losses into the open skies cause objects to become colder than the surrounding air."
