Convoy to Power Truck Show 2014, Finland

August 7, 2014 about 25 show trucks from Scandinavia and Continental Europe arrived at the ports of Naantali and Vuosaari (in Helsinki), Finland, to attend the Power Truck Show 2014. Arriving from two different directions, these smaller convoys met up at Lempäälä Pirkanhovi to join their forces. As they exited the motorway, I was ready with my camera (with many others!) to capture these unique visitors. It was a hot day, 28 degrees Celsius and mostly sunny, and we watched the clouds as thunder was approaching, but luckily the weather stayed clear.

The star of the day was Lisa Kelly, an Ice Road Trucker and TV personality. Lisa Kelly was a special guest of Volvo Trucks and the Power Truck Show. She led the convoy to the small town of Alahärmä in the Southern Ostrobothnia region.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Lisa Kelly and photographing her. Lisa is really nice!
